About
Global Leader Gail Johnson serves alongside her husband, Pastor Gene Johnson at Pleasant Hill Church of Deliverance, in La Porte, Texas. They have worked in ministry for over twenty-five years. Gail has found that one cannot be compassionate unless they can identify with the troubles of others. Gail’s sole purpose in becoming a nurse, was to help troubled and hurting people. In 2006, Gail formed The Breaking Free Foundation, a nonprofit organization that caters to the needs of women and children who are in crisis situations. Under the umbrella of the Breaking Free Foundation is the Fight Like A Girl Women's Annual Conference.
"Fight Like A Girl” brings women together from Domestic violence, homeless, drug rehabilitation, and prison reformation shelters. The women of FLAG are given clothing, food, personal items, along with hair and makeup grooming. Those in the community volunteer their services, and help the women with counseling, interviewing techniques, and self-care. The women of FLAG are also offered services such as HIV and STD testing. “Fight Like A Girl” Global leader Gail Johnson has appeared as a guest on both FOX26 News, and the Isaiah Carey Show.
